Come join us for our 8th annual OORAH event! This run/walk is a fun, family friendly event. The race will not be officially timed, but we encourage everyone to strive for their personal best! The run/walk will go along the perimeter of the park. Runners/Walkers will not enter the woods or trails at the park. About This Event The Mathew J Vieu Memorial Fund, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to support active military and veterans affairs in Western Massachusetts. T-Shirt All registered participants will be guaranteed a free shirt if registered by August 15, 2024. Parking Parking for the event is available from the Kendall Street entrance. Day of registration Day of registration will be available beginning at 8:00 am. Day of registration cost is $30.00. Shirts will NOT be available for day of registrations. Rain or Shine This event will be held rain or shine. After Race Party There will be an after party under the pavilion. Pig Roast meal tickets MUST be purchased in advance. There will be additional food items and beverages for purchase. Pets Dog are allowed at the Dog Park within Dufresne Park. Dogs must be leashed at all times if outside the dog park. Sub Event Cost Distance Run (Not Timed) $25.00 5km Walk (Not Timed) $25.00 2mi Run/Walk and Pig Roast Meal $45.00 Pig Roast Meal ONLY $25.00 Donation Only - - In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the below signed, intending to be legally bound, for myself, my heirs,my executors and administrators, waive and release and any all rights and claims for damages I may have against the race, and sponsors and their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me in said event. I attest that I will participate in this event as a footrace, that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event.
